David is a native Texan who has been involved in photography as a profession and a hobby for the past 35 years. While he has worked as a project manager, high school teacher, and now a REALTOR, his passion has always been photography. He loves photographing ‘Texas’ things which can include landscapes, places, and people. He tends to gravitate towards the natural beauty of Texas, the things that make small towns special, and structures that will soon give way to progress. David believes that “Common things become uncommon when the artist applies their vision. Reality becomes forced into a new perspective, leaving the viewer to interpret art on their own terms. Our art is not just about expressing ourselves, but connecting with other people through visual media.”
