Linda is a painter of light, skyscapes, landscapes, sunsets, and beauty all around us. She took her first art class at the age of 12 with her mother in West Texas and knew immediately that it would be a lifelong love. Trying to capture what she sees in the way in which light and shadows dance and reflect has been intriguing to her. Also, painting cotton from the fields of West Texas with sunsets is also another important part of her painting. For you see, her father was a Cotton ginner for 32 years. Growing up at the cotton gin and seeing it most of her early years has influenced what I paint. She sees God's beauty all around her every day and that's exactly what inspires her.
