Quirky thing about you and your art

There are two artists in art history that impacted my art. John Singer Sargent and Egon Schelle. Both are portrait artists but their style is so different. I've started my painting from Sargent style, following his amazing skills, use of color and positioning of color with beautiful models, but then after a couple of years, I've started to think what is beauty? Does this show human nature?

Then I came to meet Schelle's painting. Schelle's portrait has more shocking drawing and a bit dark color than Sargent, but I think the style shows human nature efficiently, especially the loneliness and weird things happening in life, but I believe it still can be beautiful because it depicts human being.

My line does not go straight, it makes curves and quick turns, which makes weird lines of face and objects. The lines are an attempt to search for true self and alternatives. When lines met, it creates unexpected dimensions with different colors. My art is a log for this journey.
