Jeffrey Glossip

Jeffrey Glossip (b. 1977, Iowa) is an abstract painter and a professor of art and art history. His work presents relationships of color and shape and space that both harmonize and clash in systems of layered rhythms. Form and color are utilized to fold and open space within and upon the two-dimensional plane. Flatness and directness of painterly application dominate. Glossip holds degrees from the University of Iowa and San Francisco Art Institute. He teaches at Dallas College and Bellevue College.
